General Comments
The Atlanta Viking 800 was evolved from the popular Macwester 27. It retained all the sea-keeping abilities of the Macwester but the encapsulated twin keels became deeper to improve windward performance. The encapsulated keels overcame the problems experienced by the earlier Westerly Centaur.
TIKI is a comfortable heavy displacement boat - not fast but she will get you there! She is in excellent condition with a totally reliable, almost unused powerful engine mounted below the waterline.
Her Copper Bot epoxy coating has protected her hull and provides virtually no maintenance apart from a pressure washing applied on an annual basis.
I'm sure I can see the coast!
Lynton and Lynmouth coming up!
